Our senior managers are given responsibility, autonomy and
superb development opportunities in highly visible roles where they
can influence the business. Having said that, we're not big on
hierarchy so, whilst you'll be leading your team, you'll also be
expected to roll up your sleeves and get involved with patients and
visitors too.
Each hospital has a core management team that consists of the
General Manager, Head of Clinical Services/Matron, and Finance
Manager. Its wider representation depends on the precise needs of
the hospital so it may also include Heads of Department in
disciplines such as Theatre, Ward, Radiology, Pathology and
Pharmacy.
General Managers lead our pursuit of excellence and help ensure
that we deliver exceptional service. Focusing as much on the
business elements of running a hospital as on the people, you'll
make sure both perform to their best.
As Head of Clinical Services/Matron, you'll blend your clinical
excellence with commercialism and leadership. Essential to the
smooth running of the hospital, you'll inspire your team to set the
highest standards of healthcare.
We also depend on our Finance Managers, who are instrumental in
the commercial success of our hospitals, using their financial
acumen to drive profitability and maintain a model which will allow
us to deliver the very best patient services.
Our Heads of Department are integral to the management teams in
each hospital - leads in both clinical practice and people
management, focusing on the best standards of care whilst making
sure their department is operating effectively and
efficiently.
