Receptionist

We are currently looking for a Receptionist to join our front of house Reception team.

As Receptionist you and your colleagues are the first point of contact for our 2,500 patients and visitors per week. The reception areas covered by the team are Main Reception, Outpatients, Cardiology, and the main switchboard. You will be registering and welcoming patients who may be anxious about their consultation or treatment so you will need to have excellent customer service skills, a calm manner and be able to work under pressure. You will be required to handle sensitive and confidential data, providing clear and accurate information whilst completing our required processes in a timely manner. Strong administration experience and keyboard skills are essential as you will be responsible for organising clinic appointments and room bookings. You should be comfortable working alone as well as being a strong team player, self-motivated and able to plan ahead. A background in healthcare administration/reception or a similar customer facing administration role will be advantageous.

Our desks are open from 06:30 until 20:00. Working on rostered shifts, we welcome applications for part-time and flexible working hours. Due to the shift requirements applicants located within the Oxfordshire area may be more suited to this role.
