A dedicated, caring and driven personal trainer, you’ll love being a part of Nuffield Health. It’s a place where you can develop, progress and really make a lasting difference for people.
There’s nothing more personal than health and wellbeing. So at Nuffield Health, we deliver truly personalised experiences. With a network spanning hospitals, clinics and medical centres, Fitness and Wellbeing Clubs, and specialist services including physiotherapy, we take great care of people through connected healthcare. Our unique approach makes a huge difference for our people too. As Britain’s largest not for profit healthcare provider, we invest every penny in our services and staff. So you’ll have more time and greater scope to do what you love.
What’s more, our ambitious plans for change and growth include plenty of support for your professional development. With all the services of Nuffield Health at your fingertips, as a Personal Trainer you can help clients to reach their fitness goals and maintain a healthier lifestyle. What’s more, with a clear path for career progression, you’ll enjoy unrivalled opportunities to move onwards and upwards, into Wellbeing Lead and even management roles.
As a permanent employee of Nuffield Health, you won’t pay a fee to train clients at our facilities, and you’ll enjoy paid holiday time. We’ll expect you to agree to a minimum number of training sessions per week, in return for a base salary. If you want to build a client base and increase what you earn, you’ve got the freedom to do exactly that. The only limits are those you set yourself. Carrying out health MOTs, group exercises, inductions, general gym duties and personal training sessions, you’ll enjoy lots of opportunities to grow the role and your business.
You’re a highly professional qualified personal trainer. Your personality is confident, outgoing and approachable. Whether you’ve been training for a while or you’ve recently qualified, we’ll expect you to have REPs Level 3 or CIMSPA Practitioner, or above. As a coach, you’re a great communicator - as good at listening and learning as you are at explaining. Your unique ability to motivate, inspire and connect with members will help them make the most of our services. Your ability to deliver high-quality inductions, consultations, programmes and sessions will keep them coming back happy.
We want you to be the best you can be. So we promise to support you with training, career development and our unique health and wellbeing focused benefits package. This includes free membership of your local Fitness and Wellbeing Club, private healthcare and an annual health assessment, as well as a range of lifestyle and financial wellbeing benefits. We want to help you live well and get the balance right in life, so we’ll give you 25 days’ holiday in your first years here - and we’ll reward you with more annual leave for building your career with us.
