From hospitals to gyms, our innovative approach to healthcare brings together prevention and cure with fitness and wellbeing services, and our GP services are a vital part of our approach to preventative healthcare.
As a doctor at Nuffield Health, you’ll be able to get to know the person behind the patient and fully understand their needs. With an hour for a health assessment or 15 minutes for a GP consultation, you’ll have real time to care. Not only that, but because we can arrange for investigations such as blood tests to be done at the time of consultation, you can give your patients the advice they need much more quickly.
As part of our holistic approach to health and wellbeing, referral pathways may be to our nutritionists, physiologists or physiotherapists to help and support patients to be as healthy as they can be. You’ll be part of a joined-up community of multi-disciplinary experts, sharing and growing your knowledge across a variety of cases.
You’ll also be involved in providing tailor-made health screenings and other additional tests, along with medicals for employment or leisure pursuit purposes. Or you could be part of the private GP service we offer in our Fitness and Wellbeing Centres. Wherever you’re based with us, throughout your career, you’ll benefit from protected teaching time and up to 40 hours of funded Continuous Professional Development a year, delivered by specialist hospital consultants and wellbeing experts. You’ll enjoy variety in what you do, with the support you need to develop the career you want.
Joining us, you’ll be at the heart of an organisation devoted to improving the nation’s health. And from flexible working, to comprehensive benefits, to unrivalled CPD, you’ll have all the support you need to live your own life to the full.
