Development & Leadership programmes
As an employee of Nuffield Health you will have access to our
first class Leadership Development Programmes that support our
managers to develop their leadership and management skills.
The Established Leaders Programme provides our senior leaders an
opportunity to increase their self awareness as a leader. Managers
can complete a 7 month programme that includes residential courses,
360 appraisals and group tasks all designed to develop their
leadership skills and integrate managers from across business. In
addition there are a number of short courses that managers can
access who want to focus on specific areas.
The Discovering Leadership Programme is aimed at our team
leaders and heads of departments. These are designed to introduce
leadership skills to managers and get them to begin thinking about
what it is to be a leader in Nuffield Health. These modules are
supported by a range of Management Skills Workshops in areas such
as recruitment and selection, performance appraisal and
presentation skills training that provide the technical skills and
knowledge that all managers need.
For those with high ambition, we have a Rising Stars Programme
that aims to identify high performing managers who demonstrate
potential to operate as, for example, a General Manager of a
Fitness & Wellbeing Centre or a Matron in a Hospital. This
programme aims to assess your readiness as a leader and provides
the development and the technical skills training so you hit the
ground running when promoted into a more senior role.
The Senior Leader Programme is for managers who have the desire
and potential to operate as a director or senior manager in the
business in the short to medium term future. Working with Ashridge
Business School we have compiled a 6 month programme to stretch and
develop our leaders through a series of residential courses and
project work that will expose them to the strategic priorities in
the business.
