I joined the company in 1998 and have worked in the Fitness & Wellbeing division, Central Support team and now the Hospital Division. I have had some interesting roles including being a Programme Manager in Bromley, a group role in the Wellbeing division looking after childcare across our 50 clubs including the Crèche facilities, Children’s activity programmes and Day Nurseries and then General Manager positions in both Bristol & Reading. In 2013 I was appointed onto the Senior Management team at the Hospital in Bristol and with the support of a mentor was successfully appointed as the Hospital Director.

For me, it’s about the people. I think in healthcare our teams genuinely want to ‘do the right thing’ and this creates a caring & positive environment which is reflected in our company values.
