We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated Breast Care team.
As a Breast Care Nurse at Nuffield Health, The Holly Hospital, you’ll be registered with the NMC and have post-registration experience in breast care and oncology nursing. As a Breast CNS, you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their breast care journey. You will provide specialist nursing advice, emotional support, and education to help patients make informed decisions about their care. Working closely with patients, consultants and a wider multidisciplinary team, you will ensure continuity of care and an exceptional patient experience.
As a Breast Care Nurse you’ll bring:
- NMC Registration with post-registration experience within breast care
- Be able to work collaboratively.
- Advanced skills in the management of patients with early and advanced breast cancer, including the management of complex needs
- Work directly with consultants who are experts in their field
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Advanced communication skills.
- Experience networking between NHS and other private healthcare providers.
- To assist with all aspects of breast care provision in association with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- To take responsibility for own evidence based practice and to ensure awareness of current research to support and underpin specialist advice.
- To develop all staff within the multidisciplinary team, providing support, advice, formal and informal education.
- Experience working within Private healthcare (desirable)

Overtime
For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.

Covering email

Video interview
The video interview lasts 15-20 minutes if you get to this stage. On the day, look the part, be aware of your surroundings and practice your answers to feel prepared. Most of all, relax and be yourself.
DBS Checks
Some of our roles require a DBS check and they are processed through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as part of the recruitment process. These checks are to assist employers in making safer recruitment decisions. However, a check is just one part of robust recruitment practice.
Documents
You could be asked to provide proof of vaccinations as part of our Occupational Health pre-employment screening.
