Up to £25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.
As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
Deliver high-quality pathology services.
Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service.
Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control.
Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables.
Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures.
Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients.

There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.

Help with your application.

Some of our roles require a DBS check and they are processed through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as part of the recruitment process. These checks are to assist employers in making safer recruitment decisions. However, a check is just one part of robust recruitment practice.
