Up to £44,000 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Rotational Radiographer to join our dynamic Radiology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified radiographer looking to develop their skills across a wide range of imaging modalities within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

As a Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You will have a great eye for detail and be caring by nature. You must hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork skills.

The successful candidate will participate in departmental rotations, gaining experience in areas such as General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Theatre Imaging, Mobile Radiography and CT (depending on experience) to deliver high‑quality, patient‑cantered diagnostic imaging services.

You will adhere to professional, legal, and organisational standards while contributing to efficient, safe, and effective delivery of imaging services.

As a Rotational Radiographer you will:

  • Perform high‑quality diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with IR(ME)R, departmental protocols, and professional guidelines.

  • Rotate across imaging areas including: General Radiography, Mobile Imaging, Fluoroscopy, Theatres.

  • Adjust imaging techniques to meet the clinical and individual needs of patients.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records using RIS/PACS

  • Contribute to out‑of‑hours, weekend, and on‑call rotas as required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.

  • HCPC registration.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
