As a Radiology Administrator at our Guildford Hospital, you’re able to manage, appraise and interpret the data. What’s more, you know how to present this in a timely and professional manner. Ideally, you hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or an equivalent qualification, but this isn’t essential.
As an Administrator in our Radiology department, you have to:
Demonstrable relevant experience working within a similar role
Good IT and keyboard skills
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Good organisation and analytical skills
Experience of working in a customer-facing environment
Knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology
Outstanding telephone manner
Adaptable to change
Able to work Monday - Saturday, between 7:30-20:00 hrs
Demonstrate any relevant experience, which would allow you to meet the above criteria.
Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic
NVQ 2 or equivalent would be desirable for this position.

Our care is matron led and we are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We’ve been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.
The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.

Some of our roles require a DBS check and they are processed through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as part of the recruitment process. These checks are to assist employers in making safer recruitment decisions. However, a check is just one part of robust recruitment practice.
Documents
You could be asked to provide proof of vaccinations as part of our Occupational Health pre-employment screening. We know it can be time consuming to get this information if you don’t already have it to hand, so we encourage you to start preparing this information to avoid any delays to the onboarding process.
