The Administration Team Leader role oversees and is accountable for the Inpatient Bookings, Medical Records and Medical Secretary teams, in a busy, ever-changing environment. The successful applicant will be ready to take on a challenge and be enthusiastic to be part of a team driven to meet daily deadlines.

As our Administration Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead the Inpatient Bookings, Medical Records and Medical Secretary teams in order to deliver outstanding customer service for both patients and consultants

  • Support the Inpatient Bookings team to achieve effective and efficient processes, ensuring bookings are made in a timely manner with clear communication and a prominent focus on patient experience

  • Provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth daily operations within your teams

  •  Ensure compliance with relevant governance including GDPR 

  • Oversee recruitment, training, induction and people management within your teams

  • Ongoing review of processes, inline with colleagues, to ensure efficient and effective ways of working

  • Adhere to daily, weekly and monthly deadlines while maintaining high standards

  • Oversight of pathways and processes to enable clear reporting to the Director of Operations

To succeed as an Administration Team Leader you will need:

  •  Ability to adapt to complex and changing processes

  •  Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple demands, working to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment

  • Ability to manage, motivate, support and organise staff

  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification, with strong IT skills
