22.5 hours per week over 4 days

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Physiotherapy Administrator to support the smooth running of our Physiotherapy Department at York Hospital.

In this vital role, you’ll be a key member of our team, providing essential administrative support that enables our clinical staff to focus on delivering outstanding patient care.

As our Physiotherapy Administrator you will:

  • Deliver high-quality administrative support to the department, using our electronic patient booking and clinical records systems

  • Manage appointment scheduling, telephone enquiries, and billing processes efficiently and professionally

  • Attend and actively contribute to planning and safety meetings as required

To succeed as a Physiotherapy Administrator, you will have:

  • Previous experience in administrative or healthcare support roles

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills, with the ability to handle patient enquiries professionally, sensitively and efficiently

  • A proactive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail

  • An understanding of healthcare or clinical environments (desirable but not essential)
