40 hours per week

£33,862.00 per annum

As Fitness Manager at our corporate gym, you will bring a strong background in fitness delivery alongside proven experience leading and developing high‑performing teams. You will be qualified to CIMSPA Practitioner level (or equivalent), with experience delivering and overseeing engaging fitness and studio programmes.

You will have a demonstrable track record of driving personal training revenue, delivering high‑quality fitness programmes for individuals and groups, and operating successfully within a commercial and governance‑led environment.

About the role

As Fitness Manager, you will:

·         Take on a commercially focused leadership role spanning people management, governance, programming and the promotion of personal training services

·         Report to the Assistant Programme Director and line manage a large, experienced fitness team, supporting performance, engagement and retention

·         Lead the organisation and delivery of class timetables, personal training services, and health assessments, ensuring programmes meet both client and business needs

·         Continuously raise site standards, ensuring compliance with operational, health and safety, and brand expectations

·         Drive team performance by setting clear objectives, coaching against KPIs, and supporting ongoing professional development

·         Play a key role in sales activity, supporting the team to achieve ambitious revenue, utilisation and customer satisfaction targets

What you will bring

·         Proven experience in fitness management and/or personal training, within a commercial or corporate environment

·         Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, influence and develop others

·         Strong commercial awareness, with experience delivering sales growth and performance targets

·         A proactive, professional approach to promoting health, wellbeing, and inclusive fitness experiences

·         A genuine commitment to the development, education and progression of your fitness team
