Technology Delivery Manager – Digital Gym Replatforming 

Barbican, London | Hybrid Working | Technology | Fixed Term Contract: 8 Months | Full Time

Nuffield Health is entering a pivotal phase of its digital transformation, with a strong focus on delivering joined‑up, omnichannel experiences for our members. 

A key part of this is the Digital Gym Replatforming programme, which will transform how members join, manage memberships, add families or partners, and book services – all through one simple, intuitive digital experience. 

We’re looking for an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to lead this strategically important programme, overseeing delivery from discovery and platform decision‑making through to planning and execution, while aligning teams across Technology, Product, Operations, Finance and external partners. 

As our Technology Delivery Manager you’ll: 

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the Digital Gym Replatforming programme, focusing on clear, cost‑effective outcomes that enhance the member experience 

  • Coordinate and align multiple internal teams and external suppliers against a shared vision and roadmap 

  • Manage programme plans, dependencies and risks across discovery, platform selection and implementation 

  • Own delivery governance and communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly to senior stakeholders 

  • Manage programme budgets, working closely with Finance to track spend and ensure strong cost control 

  • Support competitor research and market discovery to understand best‑in‑class gym and membership experiences 

  • Partner with Product and Architecture teams to assess the current technology landscape and support informed platform decisions 

  • Embed effective and pragmatic ways of working across delivery teams 

  • Support the Head of Delivery and Lead Delivery Managers in evolving delivery standards and practices across the organisation 

We’re looking for a pragmatic, delivery‑focused leader who thrives in complex transformation environments. 

To succeed as a Technology Delivery Manager you’ll bring: 

  • Proven experience as a Technology Delivery Manager (or similar) in a digital, integration‑heavy environment 

  • Experience delivering complex digital or platform programmes, ideally involving replatforming, ecommerce or membership‑based solutions 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders 

  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate plans, progress, risks and decisions 

  • Experience managing budgets and financial tracking alongside Finance teams 

  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery leadership 

  • A collaborative, relationship‑driven approach 

  • A genuine interest in improving customer or member experiences through technology
