The opportunity


Our Healthcare Account Manager will deliver the hospitals marketing strategy and our charitable purpose. As our Healthcare Account Manageryou will:

  • Promote Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital and the Nuffield Health brand consistently across all stakeholders, supporting the implementation of brand values and guidelines using social media, local advertising and local partnerships

  • Promote Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital as the number one hospital of choice for potential patients and employees using social media, internal and external communication methods

  • Organise internal and /or external events / conferences / briefings etc. ensuring accurate and complete supporting documentation is produced in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Build strong professional relationships with all stakeholders (members of the primary health care team, consumers, consultants, corporate clients and colleagues).

  • Support & develop a targeted growth referral strategy with revenue targets for selected specialties and consultants which incorporates key audiences such as primary care, physiotherapists, local businesses, potential patients and other target audiences.

  • ensure that Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital delivers its charitable purpose


To succeed as a Healthcare Account Manager, you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proven track record of Sales, Business Development/ GP Liaison in an NHS/ Private setting

  • A proactive, enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative without supervision,

  • Good numerical and analytical ability

  • Ability to influence diverse sets of audiences

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team

  • Strong prioritisation and time-management skills

  • Results driven and proactive

  • Proven experience of presenting to groups – GP’s, Consultants, businesses

  • Proven experience of designing, organizing and delivering large scale 200+ delegate events Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in social media use
