Are you ready to lead supply chain excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment? We’re looking for a Materials Manager to join our prestigious team at Parkside Private Hospital, part of a leading healthcare group committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

About the Role

As Materials Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our hospital’s supply chain operations—leading a dedicated team, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost-effective, compliant, and efficient inventory practices. You’ll be the key liaison between central supply chain and hospital leadership, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll inspire your team, implement best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement across the hospital’s supply chain functions.

As Material Manager you will

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Materials team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with supply chain policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership, finance, and clinical departments to align supply chain strategies with operational needs.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and ensure timely invoice resolution.
  • Represent the supply chain function at senior leadership meetings and hospital forums.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in supply chain management and team leadership.
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercial acumen and financial awareness.
  • Experience in healthcare supply chain or multisite operations are desirable.
  • Lean 6S experience or qualification desirable.
  • Familiarity with materials management inventory systems.
