Making it all worthwhile

Emily Bettany joined our Derby Hospital over 2 years ago as a Staff Nurse. We asked Emily what she finds most rewarding in her role and what made her decide to continue her journey in nursing at Nuffield Health.

Can you tell us a bit about about the team you work in at Derby Hospital? 

Our team works effectively together to provide the best and safest care possible.

Why did you choose to work at Nuffield Health?

I was a patient at the Nuffield when I was younger, and I aspired to work here after my positive patient experience, wanting to provide that for others.

What’s your favourite thing about working at Nuffield Health?

Nuffield Health adapt to every employees needs with flexible working patterns knowing the importance of work-life balance. They are supportive with all staffs physical and emotional needs.

What are your career highlights at Nuffield Health so far?

Receiving positive feedback about myself and my work from patient surveys makes it all worthwhile! I get great job satisfaction hearing all the lovely comments from patients and knowing I’ve made a difference to their experience.
