Tell us about your career progression at Nuffield Health?

I joined NH in 2017 as a Credit Controller, I was then seconded into the role of Transformation Lead in 2020 to help support with the transitioning of all of our Hospitals sites into Head Office, after that project had finished, I was promoted to Credit Control Team Lead, responsible for the Hospital PMI’s and Consultants. In 2021 I took on the role of Operational Process Delivery Lead for GETPAID, which is our new Collection Activity System used by Hospitals and Wellbeing and Finally in 2022 I was promoted to Credit Control Manager – Hospitals.

Tell us about the team you work in?

I work in Finance and currently have 2 Team Leads who report directly into myself each with a team of about 11 Credit Controllers. We are definitely not a quite bunch like most Finance Departments.

Why did you choose to work at Nuffield Health?

I was previously a member at a Nuffield Health Gym, and had always been impressed by what Nuffield had to offer and the whole building a healthier nation made me want to be a part of it!

What’s your favourite thing about working at Nuffield Health?

The people.

What is your career highlight?

My Highlight is how I have grown in the company and will always be grateful for the opportunities that have come my way, I have learnt so much and had some great mentors along the way.

How do you use your employee benefits?

I use the Private Health care (my whole family does) I also joined the cycle to work scheme during Covid and i regularly take advantage of the free Gym Membership.
